“I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a forever memory of their horse or pony.”

“From start to finish Ruth was excellent. Both brilliant and at ease working around the horses to offering some assistance with choosing frame and mount combinations when I asked her. There were a lot to choose from! We all really enjoyed the group shoot and the results of which I now have hanging in pride of place at home. The pictures were packaged with great care and arrived pristine. All in all a top class, high quality service and I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a forever memory of their horse or pony.”

I know it can nerve wracking having an equine portrait photography session (although there’s really no need – I’m really friendly and incredibly patient), you are worried about looking awkward in front of the camera and you really don’t know if your horse is going to behave on the day. So you decide not to book, as you think it will be a waste of time!

I have had a number of sessions where my clients are nervous and they are concerned about how their horse is behaving, thinking that we are not getting any nice images and guess what……..they were wrong!

I place you and horse roughly where I want you and work around whatever your horse is doing! There is no stiff awkward poses, when you are with your horse, things are just natural. And, being very experienced around horses, I know exactly what they can be like and how to work around it to still get gorgeous images of you both. And sometimes the more fidgety and alert they are, sometimes the easier it makes! Surprised?

And if you are still really unsure of being the centre of attention, you can always book a group session, so you can all be each others helpers and moral support.
